Good afternoon one and all.

Got these places booked up for a jolly ol' outing now we have finished our decoration and refurb'ish of the van.

If any/many have stayed at either- would love hear what is of interest nearby. Our form of transport once in the locations= Our legs.

Pubs/Brewery/beers/walks/'RnR'/Wildlife are some of our interests.

Cherry Hinton, a minute away from the bus stop for Cambridge Cite centre, No 8 I think.

Cherry Hinton is close to a Park & Ride into Cambridge; plus, pub across the road and Chinese / Indian takeaway with shops (High Street)

Cherry Hinton a simple bike ride in to the middle of the city which is extremely bike friendly
Cherry Hinton is not totally Flat though there are bits that are OK



There's a nice pub a short walk away too with decent food (well it was in 2014)

OK why not say it's Gales Cruisers
a nice site where people go year after year after year
I went a long time ago (when I was a member) the fishing was rubbish so we moved on after a couple of days
The showers were OK and there was a skiff to take you to the pub the other side of the river otherwise it was a very long walk
Sadly no pictures got some somewhere must scan them

Just opposite the Cherry Hinton site entrance is a nature reserve that's in two halves - a path in woodland and a path through an open scrubland area. Not exactly huge, but a pleasant afternoon stroll.
