Just returned from Johns Cross and will have to return in a few weeks to have the new reversing camera they have ordered for me fitted.
The motorhome, an Autotrail Delaware, is now three year three months old and the camera failed in May. The staff at Brownhills, who I bought it from, say it is out of warranty and I accept this. The new camera will be a more modern version, as the old model is no longer available. I have also been told the the external camera cover has to broken off to replace the camera, so a new one will be needed.
I am not complaining about the camera failure, or the stupidity of a non-refittable cover, but wondered if other members know about any other similar built-in design faults on motorhomes.
