Looking for my first
Hi, im Jamie, ive ust joined, I'm from Scotland, I've just took early retirement , I'm looking for my 1st motorhome, I do plan to live in it full time, travelling around UK and Europe, eventually, just me and my 2 dogs.
I thought I had bought my motorhome, 3 weeks ago but I got scammed, EDGELITE, I'm still in the process of retrieving my money, fingers crossed, anyway its not put me off looking and I've joined here to get as much advice from fellow MH owners.

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is
I hope you can get your money back

If you are looking for an adventure, you could set yourself the challenge of trying to get a GP appointment at our surgery. I am nearly two weeks in and no nearer.

Hi Jamie and a warm welcome to you.
There is a buyers guide on here but I wouldn’t have a scooby as to where to look for it 👍

I hope you get your money back and find your first motorhome soon, then the adventures can begin.

I too took early retirement last year and the freedom to now book trips away when we want, without the restrictions of only two weeks holiday and times that I couldn't be off work, is great!

:hiya:
All of us Funsters know of a MH that will be for sale in Scotland soon, big enough for 3 dogs and adapted with great electrics for full time off grid use. Owner has gone over the mechanics meticulously.

Hi and welcome, enjoy your retirement, Good luck with getting your money back
