Replacing a gas hob with a hob/grill/oven combo (1 Viewer)

New van has a hob no 12v ignition, plus a separate oven with grill inside, previously had full hob separate oven and separate grill all with 12v ignition worked a treat.
Here's the question new hob with ignition £200 ish
New hob,oven,grill ignition combo £500 ish plus new bit of worktop less selling bits (brand new) on eBay
But am I mad hacking new van?

Not if you're a competent diy'r and you tailoring to suit your needs .(imo)
Did similar on last A class ,not new but only a postage stamp size worktop.
So stripped out one long seat bed and fitted complete tailor made w,top the full length with cupboards and oven/microwave sold it to a couple from Bulgaria who loved the layout .
So go for it .
