Replacement Keys?

As we only received 1 set of keys for the Hymer when we bought it, I was wondering what the best way to get an additional set cut might be? Keys are as shown below:

Any ideas, hints or tips gratefully received

Timpsons are one of the cheapest, make sure you can get the vehicle to them as they may need to plug into the OBD port.

Er, don't like to get you worried, but I reckon there's more than one locksmith who could cut you a set of keys from the photographs. Not the immobilizer sync, obviously, but enough to get in and set up the immobilizer once he's in.

Hi when we picked up our MH it only one ignition key we got the dealer to pay for a second as it cost £96.00 to be cut and programmed for our MH

Hmm, but wouldn't they have to find me & my motorhome and then work out how to get access to the vehicle when there was noone around and then make their move., and then, assuming their counterfit keys were a good fit, get it away from there?

All seems like a bit of a stretch, if you ask me

Hi also if you have an alarm on the MH I would recommend getting the Habitation door alarmed, which we have so we set the alarm when sleeping in it

They can hardly get the cut right when you take the key to them , that’s why they always say please check it & bring it back if it doesn’t fit

i wouldnt take the key to a rabbit hutch to timpsons i definitely wouldnt trust them near my obd port

Depending on where you are located MartMaeve , you could try 3D locksmiths in Mapperley , Nottingham. They are very experienced and know what they are talking about .
