Replacement Dometic Tec tower

Has anyone replaced their sh#te Dometic tec tower with a smaller fridge with a slightly larger oven/grill? I’m not throwing any more hard earned cash on it, having had a new electric element and gas burner overhauled for it to hardly get cold on electric hook up and swmbo complaining she can’t see into the “too bloody high” oven.

We ditched ours when it dumped its refrigerant and found a larger fridge freezer exactly same size , but now have no oven at all

Just going through the same process, I removed the sh*te tower the van is now at the dealer and they are fitting a Thetford 12v compressor fridge freezer and and a gas oven grill above. They will fit directly into the space left by the tower.

I am having the same problem with my tec-tower. I’ve spent over a grand getting a new cooler unit and now its broken again .
I would appreciate some more detail on what you had done and how it works. My van is a Carthago C-tourer and I’m going to rip the tower out (well I’m not, I’ll get a specialist to do it)
