Renault or Fiat?

Which is better the Renault master or fiat Ducato ? My other half has a thing against Renaults but as a lot of MH are on the master it’s a bit of a stopper so which do people think is the better base vehicle?

I found the Renault a far superior drive compared to the Fiat, more comfortable on the road. The downside with the Renault panel van is that it is not as wide as the Fiat and the side panels have more of a curve top to bottom which means sightly less space inside.

As someone who had to have 2 dashboards replaced both in and out of warranty (we will pay sir but there isn't an ongoing problem), I have had no issues with my Renault.

I've had both. The Renault 120 was good with no flaws really and returned approximately 32mpg. The Ducato 150 returns a smidge over 30. I prefer the Fiat dashboard layout and the handbrake being on the right. Also the steering will appears to be smaller which would only worry me in the event of power steering failure. I also like the pop up clipboard where I secure a tablet for entertainment and navigation. Overall I would chose Fiat over Renault but not by much. Now if you're talking chassis then I definitely prefer the Fiat. Our previous MH was on the Renault van chassis with narrow track so it was prone to rock and roll in sidewinds compared to the wider Alko we have now.

Hi.
We have had both,2 Renault Auto's,1 Fiat auto. The Renault drive is better than the Fiat ( Both Auto boxes). The reason we now have the Fiat? Wildax's Renault model does not have the BIG fridge whereas,the W/x Constellation range does..... Me ?..henpecked ??..... NAH !! On the servicing side,look under the bonnets. With the Renault,there is room enough to climb in with the oily bits. On the Fiat........... Well,you need a pair of Long Nose pliers just to pull out the Screen washer filler point for a start... 'ish.. ,they must squeeze everything in with a shoe horn,no room to do much at all. Renault all day for me,but...... I know my place in the PECKING order.
