Any tips to aid removal of these opaque plastic roof vent covers for cleaning. There appears to be four clips, midway along each side of the cover but I struggled to release these and was worried I might break the plastic cover attempting this. Any suggestions to make this easier?

You can remove the grill inside the van it is just a push-fit. Like all plastic fitting best to do it when it's warm. Often they come out just with your fingers if not ease it out with a car trim removal tool or a palate knife.
If you want to get the top of they are a bit of a sod you need a hot sunny day even then it's difficult.

did anyone manage to get the top cover off without breaking the tabs? I need to take mine out to resea as it's got a small leak on a corner, I have the inside section out but can't get the top off to get to the screws, anyone know how to get it off please?
TIA Pete

Do it on a very warm day, I took them off on my first van but then discovered it's very easy to remove the inner grill as in Post#2.

It’s freezing today - used a heat gun to gently warm up the whole cover & it came off very easily 👍
