Want to remove the bike rack fitted to my fiat ducato as getting a scooter platform fitted.any advice please.thanks.

Leave mounting brackets in place if possible or you'll have holes to fill in bodywork

If it’s a fiamma, take bottom plastic covers out and undo little screw that holds pin in place.
Pull pins out and lift rack out away from vehicle and up to unclip.
Easier than unbolting the whole thing like I did

As said above , then put it in the shed so you can refit when changing MH

Just passes my CBT and bought a vespa the week before.means I can have a base and go out n about.got a bull terrier and getting a dog carrier fitted and he'll be wearing goggles and helmet.he'll look class.thanks for the advice because I was thinking taking the thing off totally

Sounds fun , would be great to see a picture of you & dog on scoot scooters the way to go , I got a Honda sh125 , was going to use a hydratrail but bought MH with garage , takes 2 cycles & scooter

My bike rack had nice covers on the inside of the brackets. I turned the fittings around so nice covers now cover the unused brackets.

Yes.but mine will have a platform on it and looking forward to riding my vespa in Europe
