The insect screen on my rooflight does not retract properly over the last two inches. Not a major problem at present and while I won’t tackle it at present for fear of the exercise turning out like the old lady who swallowed a fly, I have some questions in case it gets worse. The van is an Autosleeper Kingham. Internally the opening measures 650x450, does this equate to the listed size of 900x600? From various videos it would appear that the inner cover just pops off along with the winding handle and that the roller works by spring loading. I assume that this spring is the problem. Attached, hopefully, is pictures from a smaller Remis I recently had replaced, co-incidentally there are also excellent pictures from SeanS in the classifieds at present. There appears to be two ways of getting at the roller. From above which also entails unclipping one side of the upstand or by removing the lower end cover. Can anyone advise which is best please? Has this issue been explained elsewhere on the forum, I haven’t managed to track it down? Thanks
