One of the fins in the refridgerator fell off, as they transmit the cold to the fridge I needed to repair/replace the unit. Replace part was like most Dometic parts, expensive. I experimented with enlarging the three holes on the fin the alloy rivet went through, a tiny bit so the fin would just click on. I then put a very thin skim of thermal putty on the back of the fin and pressed it back into place. Finally I added just a little NoNails to the rivets to hold it together. It seems to be working.

Other than the no nails, great job. No nails is likely to develop mould in the fridge. If it does, clean off and redo with puraflex 40 from toolstation or a neutral cure bathroom/kitchen sealant. Not normal silicone as it will produce acid as it cures. Smells like vinegar
