Thinking of going there. Has anyone on here ever been. Need a site with walks straight off for dog walks no less than 5 miles. Thanks, Gina.

Been pre COVID, nice walk along river bank to reedham village, did enjoy it and would go again. Can be very popular at weekends.

Not Reedham but close by - you can overnight for free on the quiet level carpark at the Nelson pub in Horsey if you buy a meal. Otherwise £10.

Half hour walk to the beach in one direction, and a similar walk in the other direction takes you to the Horsey Windpump on the Broads.

Was there last Sunday. Good traditional food and a fantastic range of beers and ciders, tapped straight from the cask.

Thank you, sounds right up our street. Will definitely eat and drink in the pub, no problem :giggle: will I need to book in advance? Thanks, Gina.

You can't book for food, but I'd give them a ring the day before to let them know you are coming with a campervan / motorhome. Park in the carpark opposite (plenty of room) rather than behind the pub which is a bit tighter. Pub is very dog friendly. Chatty locals and lots of memoribilia on the walls. Proper old fashioned country pub.
