Red funnel IOW ferries

We have just used the 10 day camping deal on red funnel ferries. An excellent deal if you like that sort of thing
They allowed us to change the return ferry time FOC, and when we arrived also put us on an earlier ferry, all at no charge.
Well done to them, that’s what I call service.
We used the Appledurcombe site near Ventnor. Excellent walks, nearby bus service to Shanklin, Ventnor, Ryde,and Sandown. We used our scooter mainly but English bus passes acceptable.

How was passport control and did they confiscate all your fridge/freezer contents?

And don’t forget you need a rabies jab to get back into the mainland

I have used "Red Funnel" for MANY years ( four site's available )..Staying at "Waverley Park" just off the ferry berth (1/2 mile) They book the crossing & have preferential booking too,with discounts on long stay's.

All went well and we managed to import cheese as well.
