We have had the Camos 360 for a couple of years now but no dashcam, it didn't seem right to just point a dashcam forward when we had 4 channels being monitored by the cameras, well Christmas seemed a good enough excuse to treat the van so I ordered the DVR (digital vehicle recorder).

You part with about £500 and they send you a box of bits, recorder with SD card, splitter leads to connect to your existing 360 ECU, GPS puck, microphone and a manual record button, oh and instructions ;)

It is certainly easiest if you can install the DVR close to the 360 ECU so that is the two black boxes at the very bottom of our dashboard locker, DVR on the left and ECU on the right, you need access to the DVR to open the door for the SD card.

There are software option aimed at PC users but I believe these cost money as they are aimed at professional hauliers and bus companies as you can also plug in a WiFi dongle for remote access whilst the SD card is behind a locked door etec etc, all a bit overkill for us but there is a basic VLC media player available from apple or Google app stores.

For more information speak to the very helpful guys at https://www.trailervision.co.uk/

Oh and don't mess up the right and left camera connections as it looks really confusing on the 360 screen ;):giggle:
