Hi all, long story short, my luck strikes again, new to me 2006 Rapido, managed 6 nights away, boiler packed up. Its' a C series so no parts apparently. I have got an offer of a fitted reconditioned 4E (not sure on age but its had the heating rods replaced apparently) or I can go for a new 4e with the same service centre. My question is, what would you do? Money IS a factor for me and the recon one is 1000 to the new one fitted at 1800. Worried that with my luck whichever option I choose will be the wrong one! The recon one comes with a years warranty, not sure about a new one. Thoughts hive mind please?

Since money is a factor you have to seriously consider the recon unit so £800 saving is major consideration. One year warranty good providing it includes labour and isn’t parts only and check reviews of the company if all good recon is the one.

I’d be inclined to go for the reconditioned unit if, as Littlewheels said, it includes labour too…….

I think Paul Badknee just bought a new 6E for about 1400? Not sure if that included fitting though? He should see this & reply ,hopefully.
