Hello, I have recently bought a motorhome that has a rear view camera fitted high up on the back panel but there is no screen/ monitor at any sort inside. I cannot see any in-house wording in the can either. Not sure if it works or not ,but would like to get a mirror mounted screen and get it working.
Anyone have ideas!

Is it a factory fit or retro?

Do you have a double din radio head fitted? if so it probably works on that?😊

Do you have a windscreen fitted rear view mirror, if so the camera may be viewed on that when in reverse.

Mirror mounted displays can be difficult to see on a bright day.

no mirror but there is a mount. a mirror wouldn,t be much use as we don,t have a rear window.
You don't now but when the chassis cab was being built it could have finished up as a van or a pickup and would have had a window.

You need to find the cable in the cab between camera and cab before anything else to ascertain what kind of plug/socket is fitted.....it may even be a wireless camera.

Hi we are new motorhome owners and recently bought a Swift Ace Adventurer 2008.
We have read the previous messages for hope of an idea but our MH has a retro Pioneer radio fitted, with a Blauplunkt satvav with a big black wire coming out of the dash with a data plug and an 1/8th" triple jack plug. If I plug the data cable into the satnav it powers up but when I put the MH into reverse the screen does not change to rear view camera view. Anyone any ideas?
