Yes
We are on our first outing in our newly acquired MH.
First night on Beaconsfield Farm, Astley, Battlefield nr Shrewsbury. Very quiet, adults only. Immaculately laid out. We are at the side of a small fishing lake/pool. Lovely new bar and restaurant.
Anyway, walked around the touring section, must be 50 pitches, 30+ on site. My surprise and the point is, of the say 30+ on site only 2 MHs ours and 1 other.
Is that a normal ratio?????
PS, not a cheap site.

I think the more set up sites are posh and situated for just sitting in the sun the more caravans and less motorhomes there are.

We have been on adults only sites, and our experience is a ratio of about 2 caravans to 1 MH or PVC. Same as most sites.

Visited a couple of sites last week. Clumber Park with good access to cycling and walking with a large number of MH's. Then on to Beechwood, a couple of miles out of York, with a large number of caravans, as cars are much better for visiting the surrounding area

Based on our few trips so far this year I would say MHs are more popular than ever on sites, ratio with caravans this year around 3-1 compared to around 6/7-1 last year.

At a very rough estimate over the last 2-3 years I guess the ratio, in general, that I've seen has increased from around 30% mh to 50% mh. I've even been some places last year where the mh were around 70%.
I guess a lot of the mix ratio is to do with where particularly as we spend a fair amount of time going around Scotland where, in a number of areas, the infrastructure is "better suited" to mh rather than cv.

Been on some sites where we are the only one and some where it’s the other way round.
seem to get the cold shoulder on some sites in a moho. Snobs
