Radio Interference

Our Pioneer radio, AVH-Z9200DAB, has interference on all FM channels in our Hymer BSL 674. This is a replacement head unit as there was also the same problem with the last unit. Hymer have recently issued a 'filter' update which is now fitted but still an issue. DAB works fine. Actually it worked perfectly on leaving the dealer for about 15 min then started with the issue again. Any ideas please.

Have you looked at the Ariel.

I changed mine recently and transformed the radio performance.

Some USB chargers can cause interference when used near a radio.

I agree first place to look is the aerial, if you have the stuck on the window screen type they have a very poor performance in comparison to a roof mounted type WITH a proper ground plane,
I used Dabonwheels who supplied my roof aerial and get great reception on FM/ DAB,
Another possible problem are some LEDs lights can cause severe interference if the antenna lead passes
Close to them, thought obviously only when on,
