I have a 2007 Peugeot based M/H it has a 4 digit radio code security number, problem is how do I enter this code.
I have looked in owners books but there is no info on this.
The radio is the OE one and is made by Blaupunkt.

Don't dealerships have access to the code-database? Think they need your vin number and suchlike.

Not a very positive response I know, but hope it's of help.

On many radios the numbers are sometimes selected by using + or - keys which often doubles as setting the volume/bass/treble etc.

I'm surprised you have no manual relating to the radio itself. Then again, maybe I shouldn't be too surprised as MH and Caravan owners are notorious for storing these damn things in the house where they end up getting lost!

Before 'guess pressing' too many buttons I would contact a Blaupunkt dealer because if you stick the wrong code in it will have to be reset.....and they will charge you for that.

Many Blaupunkt and others (ford) share the same input method
for example your Code is 2146
Pess button 1 twice=2
pressbutton 2 once=1
press button 3 four times=4
press button 4 six times-6
you will have a button with up and down shevrons, one looks like an upside down "V" ie up press this once
you have now entered the code
if your radio displays anything other than the word "code", for example "Locked" the radio code has been entered incorectly more than three times and the radio will have to be unlocked to proceed
if only the word "code" is displayed then it is asking for the correct one
Geo
PS forgot to add on some Fiats the code goes in automaticly and you dont have to press the up button, on others it's button number six instead of the up button

This is how mine works.
1. Switch on ignaition
2. Switch off radio
3. Press and hold "AS" button on radio face and switch on radio. The display should show "CODE" after a few seconds.
Now start entering your your 4 digit code number Example 3576. You should have a row of numbers which are your different stations. Entering 3576
3: press no: 1 button 3 times
5: press no: 2 button 5 times
7: press no: 3 button 7 times
6: press no: 4 button 6 times
Then press your "AS" button to store the code. Automatically evrything should work normally.
That is the way it works on mine. Although you may have a different radio face or whatever, I believe the system may help you to get you connected.
By the way you should have an AUDIO MANUAL which should show you the system
Keeping my fingers crossed for you. All the best and good luck

I have not lost it yet:Smile: I am just planning how i am going to fit a 7" motorized monitor in the tacho space above the OE radio/CD.
Having the radio out of the way while I do this will be helpfull, its not not obivious without instructions how this is done, unlike Ford who alway seem to make things simple.
I have found out by removing the pop-up clip board above these units gives more access.

Thanks for replies.

HI

Arn't forums great?

Sunday evening, you would not get that sort of service from a Fiat main dealer. Mind you, you wouldn't get it Monday to Saturday either :cry:
