I understand that the poor reception of the radio on AT's (mine is a 2020 Tracker RB) is part down to the aerial been mounted in the near side wing mirror. Has anybody tried a clip on type aerial or similar maybe on the mirror housing and if so did it make any difference? I am aware that the head unit is not the best but I am loath to change this.

From the lack of responses it looks like the answer is 'no'!

I have tried a stick-on-the-windscreen aerial in hope of overcoming the poor DAB reception & went to a car radio 'specialist' who said I should give up trying so I kind of did. (Bit of a shock as my head unit is Pure & expensive.)

Solution has been to listen to the radio on internet via phone/bluetooth and to the head unit's tuner via one of the many adapters available on the auction site.

Bit of a faff the first time but after that the only problem is remembering to a. turn it on before driving off or b. have the navigator/disc jockey in passenger seat.

Hope you get a good solution.
