Any one fancy this event racing on the sand bikes and cars plus steampunk at the spa.

Sounds interesting.

Have you been before or is this the first time that this event has been held?

Ian

No Ian I myself have not been before but a bike friend recommended it’s a good weekend.
I have just looked for camping and the CCC have a ths on the yacht club right above the beach so it looks like a good weekend if your a petrol head.
All old school machines ?

I think it is a relatively NEW event.? Not something that has been widely advertised here anyway. It`s only 20 min from us so I might go and have a look?.

BE AWARE, ALL parking in Brid; is expensive, EVEN DISABLED have to pay!!. And the wardens are ex SS!!

It`s not actually "new" historically, Prior to WW2, they held record attempts just up the coast on the beach at Filey.

“Even Disabled have to pay “ someone has to keep the pension pot topped up :D

My type of event, whats not to like. (y)

Couple of weeks ago we stayed at a campsite in Brid. very good bar next to it !! Loved Brid so may well be looking at going to this event next year.

The advantage of being at the yacht club it’s 15-20 minutes walk to where the racing will be, or 30 minutes into Bridlington for the best steak pie ever in Boyes roof top restaurant/ cafe.
