Hi, My daughter has a 1999 Luna Delta 5202, When we are putting the camper away it has to go up an incline in reverse, I have been told that when going up an incline in reverse the towing hitch compresses as if its braking going foward, does any one know if there is a device that clamps to the towing hitch to stop this happening when in reverse?

I guess you are referring to a caravan being reversed up a slope?

For many years now caravans have been equipped with auto-reversing brakes. The mechanism inside the brake drums automatically releases the brakes shoes, thus enabling unhindered reversing. If indeed your caravan has this system, it does need to be adjusted correctly to work properly.

Thanks again for all the replies, its going in for a service soon so will ask for the brakes to be checked when reversing.
