Question about seat/seatbelts

Hi peeps
I was wondering if anyone could advise pls?
I have a 1988 ducato with only 2 captain seats. Would I be able to remove the passenger seat and replace this with a bench seat with two seatbelts do you think?
I've seen one on ebay from a 2007 ducato.

I would be carefull in doing a 'major' mod on any vehicle, insurance companies use any excuse not to to pay out. You may have to use the original anchorage points in your van as well.

I would get clearance from them if you can.
