Seriously considering a continental panel van conversion. However reading this forum, it seems that insulation can be lacking. Does anyone have any comments. I prefer a fixed be at the back due to the storage space underneath. Thank you in advance

Can only say that we have used our 2018 model PVC in temperatures of down to -10C and been comfortable.

Same as above as we've used our at Glencoe when it was- 9, we're actually thinking of changing ours if you're interested.

Generally German PVC's have the best insulation Hymer claim to be the class leaders.

We have a Globecar Campscout with fixed rear bed we’ve had no problems whatsoever with insulation, and when we have needed to put the heating on our van has very quickly heated up and the thermostat switches the heating off and we’re as snug as a bug in a rug.

We have ih PVC had it for two winters never noticed a difference with our coach built

Our rear doors were a bit cold at night but I've since added my own insulation and now it's lovely and toasty. It now takes only a couple of minutes to make the interior of our H-line Globecar snug and warm but then again we do have a 6000W Truma fitted. Our gas usage is minimal too.

I think Rapido has the best insulated shells but then again I haven't seen what is behind a Hymer yet.
