that prompted me to have a look at some photos I took on a day off from kayaking up around shetland ..They’re one of the many reasons we love going to Shetland so much. Loads of them at Sumburgh lighthouse. You can almost touch them. Beautiful birds. Lovely photos, thanks for posting.

i was up at Bempton end of April and never saw any, but did get pics of a few from the cliffs between Flamborough head and Bempton.May I ask where you photographed them ?

They say Penmon point puffin island has but they are on the wrong side of the islandSouth Stack, Anglesey has a good breeding population
