'public' Weighbridge ?? Peterborough Area ??

Anyone have recent personal experience finding a weighbridge open to the public in the Peterborough/Stamford area???

The only resource I can find is;

...which is hopelessly out of date - of the three local to me, one has moved operations, one has closed down bankrupt, and one has changed hands no longer open to the public!

The Chris Hodges Trucks Link Removed is also inaccurate.

I have just been to the local quarry and got a sneaky unofficial weigh but the operator did think it might be inaccurate as it was due to be recalibrated - also he was reluctant (understandably) to mess around with front/back axels etc.
[I suspect it might be 'inaccurate' as my MH has a MIRO of 2811kg and it was 'weighed' at 2900kg]
Although he did offer to weigh me again after its been fixed but I don't want to abuse his favour.

So hence I'm looking for a proper public weighbridge

They were very helpful, charged £10 to weigh my van.

That's 75 miles away!!!

The lists are at best out of date - which is why I was looking for recent actual experience.

Give the local council a ring. Trading Standards may have a list seeing as they are responsible for policing accuracy.

Yes
Although from recollection it was £15... and they wanted 2x fee for doing both total weight & axel.
