Hi everyone, just wondering if there’s any product on the market that I might apply to the body joints especially to the roof so as to protect against the worst of the weather over the winter. TIA.

Sorry but gotta laugh,,, With the age of most people on here and the recent thread about medication for Human body joint pain (Arthritus etc) I had to click.. (y)

On a serious note, never heard of this request before, van are built to be outside. Older vans may benefit from old sealant being taken out and replaced with stuff like Sikaflex / Puraflex ....

As tonka states. Built for the outside and should be stored outside to prevent sealant's from drying out and cracking, although not an issue with modern sealants used on Motorhomes, I suspect. I tend to oil hinges & locks, and clean and polish the roof end of October (Autoglym super resin polish) and again in April. Other than that just the odd wash now and then.

It's ashame that there isn't an after market moulding to seal over existing roof joints. It would save alot of time and with out disturbing the existing sealant
