I want to send a PM to someone and add a photo but there doesn't seem to be an option in the box, am I missing something ?

In the text box. In the bar just above is an insert image icon.

Below the body of your message, there should be a button to 'attach file'. Click it

A few months ago (March) Jim opened a thread that basically said to comply with revised legislation the functionality for attaching a photo in a pm would be removed. This happened at that time however it remains with Lifetime Members but believe this may be under review.

Looks like my subs had expired, I took out a 3 year sub but can't remember when. So resubscribed for 3 years.

The easiest way is to message them for their normal email address and send it to that.

Get there mobile number and send a whatsApp a lot easier

You can't send pictures.

Nothing to do with your subs.

It is only Life members who can attach pictures to PMs.

If your subs had expired your username would have gone grey, I've only ever seen it as blue.

You are correct you can't add pics anymore but you can insert a link to an external picture hosted somewhere else.

Did you receive the screenshot I sent you? If you did it means those who have an annual subscription can send images in DMs. Not just life subscriptions.
