Has anyone bought a privacy room for a Star spirit

What is your awning model? This is what privacy rooms are based on. We have one for a Fiamma F45S and it's great, easy to put up once you get the hang of it and more than doubles your living space.

The good news, for you, is they are worth little second hand. We gave ours away. They are great when you stop for a few days.

Ever put it up on your own? Wondering if it's easy enough to do it on my tod.

Most folks seem to end up not using theirs - mine went on Ebay.

Yes, they are sturdy, but they're also heavy and of course pin the van down to one spot. If you stay in one place a lot and don't take the van off site then worth considering, otherwise I'd say don't bother.

We have a privacy room, a Fiamma one! I always put it up on my own, whilst the wife supervises whilst sipping a gin. To be fair, I'd only get cross that she was doing it wrong! :D
For me, the trickiest bit is getting the roll out fabric of the van awning to pop into place! At some point our van has had a replacement, and it isn't quite in the correct position.

Usually takes me about 30 minutes to set the whole thing up, then I too sip a gin - leads to family harmony :D

Privacy room?
No such thing in our house.
Where ever I am the wife will find me.:D2

Yes, putting up on your own is easy once you've got the hang of it. As said above, they are heavy when packed away, but once out of the bag, individual bits are fine to handle, not heavy at all. Used it loads when we went away with kids and got it down to about 20 mins to put up, less to take down.
