I know it’s only a small thing but I often wonder why our Hymer has a red badge on the bonnet saying "power"? I haven’t seen one on any other Fiat, and the only idea I have is maybe it’s because our van has the 180 engine? Anyone else got one?

Pretty sure that’s right - I used to see them on 3 litre Ducatos. Not seen them for a while now, though. We had one Bob on our 180 bhp fiat so I think that what it is

If I remember rightly didn’t they fit them to Chevy pick ups ?
Bob.Noticed most Burstners have a Burstner badge in place of the Fiat one. Probably just trying to hide the fact of it being a Fiat instaed of something decent like a Mercedes
@ How many miles to the gallon ?They certainly did in its many sizes it has appeared in a lot of Chevy/GM vehicles. They stopped making the 8.1L version of the big block a few years back and it more or less killed off Workhorse the RV chassis manufacturer for a good while. It is truely a magnificent engine, ticks over at 600rpm and purrs along on the flat at 1400rpm when doing 60mph and coupled to the Allison transmission makes an orgasmic power plant.
There is no truth in the rumour, put out by the Very @old-mo TypeFellaPerson, that I have recorded the sound of the engine under load and listen to it through my headphones whilst sipping a glass of lightly chilled.
