Hi all. Does anyone have recent experience with plug-in mosquito repellents that go into a USB socket? Looking for something to leave on overnight. I have found a few on the interweb, but they look a bit flakey to trust unattended all night. Have used 230 V versions in many a villa over the years prior to campervan. Thanks.

Best out there I believe. Look for the U-tube clip for doing your own refill and buying tabs from abroad.

I have one that plugs into a usb that runs a small computer fan. It supposed to draw the mozzies down a funnel that has a blue glow and into a container at the bottom where they expire.
It arrived after I left for Croatia last year so it's never been used in anger, I've no idea if it works but I'd rather doubt it.
I'll try it this year hopefully.

We use a 12v version of the ones that use tablets. Brand is Zaza (also goes under the brand Brunner, I think). One tablet lasts about 8 hours and protects about 30 sq. metres. It is a 5 watt device, so doesn't drain the batteries too much.

The tablets we use say 'Bengal strength' on them. Haven't found them since, so they are probably illegal now :)
