I'm a newbie
Morning campers,

Just after some advice from those much more knowledgeable than me!

We are driving to Lake Annecy from Dover. We don't want to do it in a day and are happy to do it over 2 or 3 days (quite flexible) so wanted to know about any great cities / towns / villages, that we could stop off and visit overnight on the way.

I also don't mind paying for toll roads but if theres a lovely scenic way to do the above towns, then I am happy to hear them!

We are travelling mid July time in a motorhome with 2 adults and 4 kids, ages 12 down to 3.

Many thanks

Jason

On a recent trip (heading north though) we stayed for 3 nights on the lovely aire at Pont a Mousson. Also stayed on the free aire at St Gervais Les Bains - tramride to the glacier was superb.
