Place to stay in Plymouth

Hi All
I’m going to my sisters in Plymouth in a couple of weeks and looking for somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights.I am unable to stay at my sisters.Have anybody got any suggestions of where I can stay close to Plymouth.

We stopped at the Riverside caravan park last year for a night , it's ok not cheap , not far off the A38

There is a Caravan Club site on top of a hill overlooking The Sound.

There's a layby at Smithaleigh a few miles east of Plymouth on the A38. There is a high bank between it and the road and often has a MH or two in it.

Lorry stop next to A38 at the leemMill. Often used by motor homes, campervans and caravans. No services but handy stop off over night.

To return to it from Plymouth you will have to go on a mile or so to the Lee Mill turnoff (where there is a big Tesco) and do a U turn.

That where we always stay when visiting . They do a special rate for a week stay if you are old like us ! Bus a short walk to end of road

You will be fine in both places as I was in a auto trail apache 700 7.49mtrs and fitted in

Just make sure you park next to the yellow hatched areas so you have a good exit route
