The Pilote P650C has a fixed skylight over the cab. Ours is now leaking, quite prolifically in the current August weather. My supplying dealer (I won't name them) didn't give me a great deal of confidence in his proposed repair strategy. Does anyone have any experience of this problem? There are no rubbers or frame as such - the glazing is fixed and appears to be stuck into the aperture and surrounded by a gutter.

I'm expecting a robust discussion, since it turns out that by pure coincidence I reported the fault 5 years to the day after the vehicle was delivered (5 year leakage warranty). The dealer said he can't do anything for a month anyway - too busy selling new ones to bother about customer service I guess.

I get up on the roof of my Pilote on a yearly basis and check the seals around the skylights, seams etc. I am in the process of stripping back old seals and renewing. Easy job in itself if you are handy. Are you able to inspect the skylight yourself from above?

Have a look at Pilote Motorhome Owners on Facebook. If you type in leak in the search box there are quite a few comments on this subject.
