Pilote "A" Class front moulding.

As the title, can anyone tell me what material the front moulding above the windscreen is made from please, I am having it mechanically polished and the guy doing the work thinks it is gelcoat whereas I feel it is GRP.

Also, whatever material it is what is the best method of polishing.

I might be wrong, but think you both agree actually. GRP is finished with a gel coat.

Its a gel coat on GRP so both right watch out for your Pilote sticker as it will leave a *shadow* where the sun has bleached the gel coat, better to get it sprayed to match

Just make sure he knows what he's doing, I saw a fantastic Autotrail 635 that I badly wanted completely mullered by some prat with a polisher, looked like he had gone at it with an angle grinder, I was gutted, eight hour round trip wasted.
