A Woosh bang
Could posters please not insert super big pictures in their posts..

I only have a 14" lappy standard format, not a super duper 30" wide screen,.,.. so consequently I have to scroll from left to right in order to read the thread .. so I now don't bother.. if the thread opens like this I just close it ..

Before posting a picture, try a preview.. then think how it will affect the thread width.. and for us lesser mortals with normal lappys and arthritic mice..

That's my moan for today .. I'm off to hack the grass down .. ::bigsmile:

couldnt agree more Jim, nothing spoils a thread more than a pic the size of a wall hanging stretching beyond the edge of the page.

and then the following posts are also the same width.

so easy to resize a picture to a usable size.

Spot on Jim and those on mobile connections are double cursed, it costs them real money and a load of time too.

Unfortunately it's a bit like spelling, there are those who have no idea how to resize pics.

CLUE: www.irfanview.com

Free irfanview can resize and limit the size of pics - I set mine to output 100K file size and 1000 x 600 size. The 100K set compression to a nice fast size and 1000 x 600(ISH) sets on screen size.
