Peugeot Servicing

Hi all. Picking up our new van on Monday; Peugeot based Elddis. Trying to find a Peugeot main dealer / garage close-ish to Salisbury, Wilts. for routine mechanical servicing & repairs to comply with warranty. All the ones I have found/tried can only do cars & light vans, not a 7.5 X 3.0m 3500kg MoHo. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations? Dealer is in Gloucester which is about 2 1/2 hours away. Thanks.

Same problem here in Scotland. I get mine serviced at a specialist motorhome garage - as long as they use genuine Peugeot parts warranty is ok I'm told. But even that is 35 miles away. An alternative is to use a commercial servicing garage, but get them to note the parts requirement.

I use Warner's in Tewkesbury (think they have a branch in Gloucester also) so if you are having Hab check done at original dealers then could kill 2 birds with one stone (don't forget vehicle service is every 2 years not annually), we have the (near enough) 8 metre Bailey 79-6 and it was no problem.

If you do use them check the price as they first quoted me over £400 but after some checking it came in well over £100 less than first quoted.

I strongly recommend that you do a yearly oil and filter change if you want to keep the motorhome for any length of time. I think the two year recommendation is for commercial users.
