On my 2013 Peugeot the scuttle at the bottom of the windscreen has a hole to let the water out and a pipe to direct it away. However at the left and right hand side are little self contained segments that collect water and have no obvious drainage. No problem with the right (looking from the front) but the water collecting in the left segment completely submerges the axle of the windscreen wiper which cant be a good thing. Access is restricted due to the triangular body work plate. Not being good with spanners I am loathe to try and remove this unless it is meant to. It appears to be held in with two screws only. I also cant seem to find (with prodding) a drain hole which has got clogged up. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. Pics included to give clarity

There has been quite a few threads on this but the general opinion is that you have to put in some extra holes.
I did this using two spare nozzles from sealant cartridges with a length of hosepipe attached, these drop straight down to just below the bodywork. Seal the nozzles in with some Sika or similar .

I took those screws out & levered the plate off, it is held by a couple of clips that pop out. There is a drain hole there which if like mine will be blocked up. Somewhere on here (try the search at the top) i am sure someone will be along soon to say more there are several articles about dealing with this problem. As Mikeco has said.

There will be a TINY drain hole that will be blocked up. I had this problem with an earlier van. The later model peugeots corrected this problem with much larger drain holes and piping. remove the two screws and carefully pull off the top plate thst is held by a couple of clip on studs. I enlarged the holes on both sides and fitted garden hose piping. I did a posting on this so do a search.

Hi Humsafer
I know your original thread is quite old, but I thought you might like to know I make a 3D printed solution to this drain blockage problem. I sell it in the classified.

Cheers Paul and Chrissy

Hi, thanks for the info. Looks real neat, but too late. I actually used two Silicone cartridge nozzles and some plastic tubing held in place by deck caulk (some kind of sikaflex I guess.) Its good to go
