Van conversion hi top box

Hi All
I'm brand new to this site, forums, and campervans.
I've bought a 2016 lwb Peugeot Boxer van to convert.
I'm changing the duel passenger seat for a single seat. I've got a drivers seat as trying to find a single passenger seat for less the £500 is impossible.
The seat bolts straight into the existing passenger seat fittings, however, it looks movingly the seat belt latch over to the other side will require breaking out the angle grinder to remove the bracket.
I'd just like to ask if there's an alternative. It's not too big a job but a bit more work then I thought it would be.
Thanks
Look forward to reading the many forum etc.
Kev

Personally I believe tampering with the seatbelt fixing is a mistake. There is another post running where someone is changing a double for a single, perhaps you can do a deal.
I had no problem finding a passenger seat although it was a few years ago.

single passenger seats are rare in uk scrapyards, but plentiful as lhd drivers seats in europe
another option is change both cab seats for quality car seats

Hi. I see you have Peugeot Boxer seats for sale. My wife has recently become disabled as a result of cancer and radiotherapy and we now need to change the front passenger seat to a comfortable drivers variety. If you have one I would be delighted to hear from you. Many thanks.

As an aside what is underneath the single passenger and drivers seat in a 2016 Peugeot Boxer?

Anyone know if VW T4/T5 (180 base) will fit in a 2002 Boxer Pioneer?
There's a guy selling what were rear swivel seats (single and double, with integral belts) in a VW that I fancy for front in my Boxer

with a little drilling and possibly welding, pretty much anything can be made to fit. Not likely to be a direct match bolt for bolt spacing though

Can anyone tell me where I can get the fixings from. It’s the ‘lugs’ that the passenger seat slides onto . (2017 boxer). Any help much appreciated, haven’t had any luck after much searching online
Cheers

Hi Will, a breakers yard would be my first thought, as they will be ridiculously expensive for a glorified bolt at a dealership
