It is the EU being pedantic. We recognise the Pet Passport but since B they have insisted on that 11 page ANC. I have signed.

The inclusion of the pet passport scheme will be part of the terms negotiated by our own government.

They can and should negotiate it’s inclusion, it’s just another thing we have lost that we now need to work out how to get back one way or another. It’s a great bargaining chip for the EU, they won’t give it back without something in return, just as we shouldn’t expect our own Government to do.
