I;m a newbie
Anyone out there with a crystal ball?
Is it worth my while, as a newbie looking to buy a motorhome, to visit the Peterborough show please? How many were there for sale last year......?

It's the biggest show - plenty of used & new vans of all shapes & sizes...

Great show and lots of choice new and old. If you can wait till the end of season show at Lincoln, we got a great deal on one we saw at full pops at the Peterboro show. Of course it does depend on if that dealer model will be there.

The Peterborough show is the best of the year imo!
It has literally hundreds of motorhomes to look round and compare layouts. A must do if your looking for a Motorhome!

Start going round dealers in the new year. With very little turn over this time of year you will be able to get a deal especially if you do not have trade in

Just an opinion, but I reckon the Peterborough show is among the best for anyone starting out.
There is usually just about every genre and layout available for inspection..
In fast I doubt ALL the vans on show can be inspected and examined properly in one day
Def worth a visit !

I even bought our present van there because it was well priced ( even though I previously said I would never buy at a show ! )

Peterborough is a dangerous show which we attend most years ... in 2016 we went with no intention of buying anything as we were more than happy with our Autocruise Augusta but somehow ended up having bought our current motorhome and a new toad.

Many thanks everyone.

If you see a 70 year old man, with long hair and a bemused look on his face at Peterborough, that will be me!

As almost said above the Peterborough is the place where Dealers get rid of there mostly secondhand stock and New stock which is usually the year before Spec. hold your nerve and you could get a reasonable deal , don't forget that most important Damp Check paperwork wherever you buy , better still as well if you have a Damp Meter check it yourself as well.

Thanks Tony50, sound advice.
