Hi all, we now have a smaller dog - a Bishon Frise called Buddy - who we intend to take with us to Europe next year. Has any one got addresses near the ports in Spain, Netherlands and France of vets who will sanction travel before we get on the ferries please ? I know the authorities are saying pet passport rules may change come 1 January 2021 but we have started the process - but would welcome tips and hints. Thanks Tony and Theresa

You just need that from your UK vet the reason you needed a vet for return to UK was to certify that you have had your dog wormed by them and signed to prove it obviously that’s going to change after Brexit.

Vets in France

Sorry to post in here as there's no thread just for travelling pets I'm. Asking for advice as I'm going to France next week but I have to find a vets whilst I'm there and get my dog treated for tape worm to come back into the UK Does anyone know of any vets in France please?

Here is just one a few threads about vet locations. You will always need to have your pet wormed before returning to the UK even post Brexit as it is a UK requirement not an EU one. What else you need to get into the EU still remains the question.

The closer you get to the ports the more expensive the vets are!

Buchy North of Rouen is cheap and free aire near gendarmerie. Vets is behind supermarket just out of town.
