Personal Possessions/Gadget Cover

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, I've done a quick search but couldn't find the answer.

I'm wanting to get get my travel insurance sorted but none of the providers seem to provide adequate gadget cover unless you go way way up on the premium and even then single item limit is pretty poor.

What are the other/alternative options? That's if there are any!

Might be less expensive on your home insurance policy cover under ‘while away from home’ clause?
