Passport control at Bilbao port

Are the Bilbao arrivals passport control still the same?
ie queue up at the passport booth to get your passport’s checked and stamped?

Same queues at kiosks in January - long queues

Wasn’t sure if they were using biometrics yet like all the airports, probably will come in the future?

Should be but think it’s still delayed, not sure but think Germany is one that’s not ready, probably a few not set up yet. Bit of a mockery with all the non euro zone people freely moving about

Went through Bilbao Passport control last Saturday morning,1 British Passport and 1 Irish passport took about 30 seconds.
