Can any member give advice re parking in Worcester?

We will be visiting the area on Saturday, in our motorhome , and would like to explore the City. We would like to park as centrally as possible.

Thanks, in anticipation!(y)

Don't go to Copenhagen Street car park near the river, I have just come back from there and could only just get my car under the barrier!

Some car parks in the centre have height barriers.
I used to drive a minibus and used to head towards Diglis basin.
The approach roads allow free parking but I think for a certain period of time.
Here.

If nowhere here continue a little further around the roundabout right by the basin.

Short walk to city centre or along the canal also.

Note . Day parking only but check notices etc.

Hope it works.
It's in line parking in the street but I've always managed to park down there.
Worcester centre is not very large vehicle friendly.
If full try outside the Royal Worcester porcelain factory here.

It entered from Edgar st off the main road going back towards the cathedral from Diglis. Does not look like you can go up cos it looks like you are hrading right into the cathedral but you can.

It's metered so your time will be limited but it's worth a try returning from Diglis if it's full.

Before you head for the place above take a slight detour here.

You can then follow to the end and turn up towards the cathedral anyway.
Pot luck if there is somewhere in Bath road.

I have checked out your original suggestion, Diglis Road, on Google Earth and it looks fine for our unit if we can get in. Your alternatives give us options.

Many thanks.

Visited Worcester on Saturday and managed to park on Diglis Road thanks to your advice.

Many thanks. We enjoyed our day and are determined to visit again in the future.(y):)

MHF always seems to have someone who can help with any query.

April 2021 update.- we parked on diglis road to visit the city centre, got the last space on a Thursday afternoon, no other motor homes, and a 2 hour restriction now. But job done:-)
