Hi Team,

Does the above receiver contain a drive in order to record programs?

Thanks in Advance.

Not the one I vaguely recall, it was a small old school 12v receiver with scart (not HDMI) connectivity.

If it's the old one mentioned by RowleyBirkinQC yes it was a scart connection. Still got one somewhere in the loft, the other went to Jaws for a knockdown price I remember! ;)

No, the old pace javelin was just a 12v satellite receiver with no record ability.
Even eBay doesn't list any now.....must be very rare.

Does that make the one somewhere in my loft an antique? ;)

Thanks for the reply team.

RowleyBirkinQC, antique may be a bit strong but they still demand a good price in the motorhome world.

I just need a 12v receiver that will work with Sky and record. Any products out there that fit?

YOu have the older Sky+ boxes, or Sky+HD boxes (dont think either are 12v though), which will record, as long as you have a (paired) Sky card and active subscription. No subscription no record on Sky boxes. If you just want to record free channels , then consider a Freesat box, or a "generic" satellite receiver that can record to USB stick
