You need Anthony OysterTech he will be able to tell you he does check in to MHF when he is able

Apologies for my late reply however we've been exhibiting at the NEC for the last week and I have only just returned to work.
Thanks Speve for the heads up.
Error 0294 is a problem with the motor control usually caused by a problem with the main circuit board inside the roof unit.
I would need to see the system in order to verify this however there's not much else it can be really. If the system is still inside it's three year warranty then this repair can be done free of charge at our premises in the midlands.

When I had probs with my Oyster 2, I removed the roof cover and replaced the micro-switch. Worked ok after that 
(thanks to Anthony and his helpful instructions 
).
Perhaps the Oyster 5 has a more sophisticated system - Anthony mentioned a main circuit board in the roof......didn't notice one of those !!!
There is a dish reset procedure if you wish to have a look under the hood. However, probably best not to fiddle if it's still under warranty.

Been to Anthony and had the circuit board replaced. £££ 
He is very helpful. Even told us we have another decoder for Spain! Didn’t know that. The joy of buying second hand.
