Well apparently they changed things on Astra 2 that resulted in my Oyster dish doing the dreaded continuous spin. We have had our system for nine years and this will be only the second time this has happened. So, I rang Oyster and got to speak to our very own famous Anthony OysterTech , who calmly and patiently talked me through entering the new settings and all is now well. This is one of the times when Google is not your friend and the opportunity to screw things up is great, so his recommendation is to always to ring them for advice.

Had mine done twice in the past, both times by Anthony's very able assistant Margaret. Takes about 5 minutes over the phone. Last time was about 2 years ago.

Just been out to the van to check that the system (oyster 2 with 12v mini sky box) was still working ok....and it is.
