Hi, Looking for advice on what insulation to buy for the over cab bed ceiling, I have not removed the head lining as of yet to see if there is any insulation in place but does not feel like there is any. We are getting water marks/ stains appearing every so often ( not soaking just slightly damp ), so I am assuming its the cold weather affecting that area?

I have searched online for the last 2 days and getting fed up now as there is that many different choices from bubble foil to foam etc and prices vary dramatically. Any help advice links etc is much appreciated.
Thanks.

I would have expected it to be insulted already but sounds like there may be water ingress.
I'd suggest stripping it out to investigate what's there.

It could simply be condensation forming rather than damp ingress but its worth checking for the latter to be sure. There will be some insulation in there but you've got an older MH so not likely to be a lot, best bet is to remove the covering first and see what's there and what gap you have to fill as this will help determine which material you can fit and also allow you to check it's watertight.

It is an old Lady, 1990 Renault Trafic Holdsworth, I believe a lot of older vehicles did not have the over cab part insulated? ( Just what I have read )
But yes I will have to strip it back to see. I have had it checked for water ingress and all is good, no water getting in. Also have checked with a moisture meter and only part showing a slightly higher than normal reading is the over cab ceiling.
