Camping des Mottes Noir, Rue Pierre Dupuy in Sangatte. This is 13/14 minutes away from the terminal. They let you out at 7am (automatic gate).
Also the beach is just across the road, 3 or 4 minutes walk and an excellent Boulangerie that opens at 6.30 is a 5 minute walk away or en route when you leave.
We use it every time now, especially coming across as we’d rather be in France for our first stop than somewhere around Folkestone.

Cite Europe - easy to get to, shops for those last minute bits and 2 mins to the tunnel especially if you go in the gate near the pet passport office! (y)

Another vote for Cite Europe! We use it both ways these days - evening Tunnel, overnight & set off into France in the morning.

Keep hearing about Cite Europe we thought we would try it. Is there a charge for the night and are there any facilities nearby?
Also has anyone stayed at Sangatte? If so where Thanks

Cite Europe is a free Aire. However, it's just parking. There are dumping facilities and water near by APPARENTLY.
The supermarkets (mainly Carrefour) is reasonably priced and certainly no more expensive than other Carrefour supermarkets

The dumping is right on the job, come out of the gate turn left up to the roundabout turn right to the filling station and you are there.
Still better at gravelines though;):)

We usually use Citie Europ, outbound cross in the evening rest overnight for good start in the morning. Homeward we like to get an early start, first to get through Pet Passport bit but it's a long long haul home from there.

However we have used various aires around - favourites are Wissant (southbound) and Gravelines (eastbound).
